Hey,
there is thread about a ScrubsInc. cup in the competetive Section. I am wondering why nobody signed in yet, because this cup is intended to be for the whole Community and not for the competetive teams (thats why whole teams are banned).
So is nobody interested in a cup like this? Is the whole community taking this game this serious? 
I would like to read your thoughts on it.

nice try , but u dont have a scene for this cause the comp / ranked or wahteverf is broken. In every big mp comp game, the scene is drafted from the ranked scene.

This funcup is supposed to be for the whole community especially for those who donât have a team and donât play completetively. Of course also people who are in a team can join, but not with their teammates. Otherwise it would be a pure stomp. It is supposed to be for the community, people who play for fun with friends and so on. Not everything has to be hardcore competetive and i think it is a great thing to have also funcups like this in between, so that people who arenât âskilledâ enough can also participate and enjoy DirtyBomb differently.

I have no idea how you came to this conclusion. Other games do not have a tournament/lan/league scene because they have ranked MM. Long before ranked MM became a feature somewhat recently (predominately in MOBA games and CS:GO) many games had a competitive scene.
Ranked MM being âbrokenâ in your opinion doesnât impact the competitive scene much in my opinion. At least not nearly as much as balance concerns and the severe lack of crucial things like private servers so teams can practice/scrim on.

Lets create a topic in appropriate section, but if no1 will take notice, wel just spam it whenever we wannt.
And FMs not just dont close it, they actually add to conversation. Splendid.
Probably cause of hackers people are afraid or balancing issues with mercs and what-so-ever.
Comp is broken because of hackers, not rankings. Few comp players care about rankings. Dirtycups had its share of hackers. Any other comp league is going to be the same until we can get something trustworthy up and running.
Well, this cup isnât meant to be super competetive. I donât know how often i have to mention this. And cheaters get banned from leagues and cups, because the ones who organise them (people of our community) take care of it.
You shouldnât compare matchmaking with pugs, cups, leagues held by the community.
