well i was using this bc i want to connect lights to the origin. can i do that? when i conected them, and loaded the map, it exited out and said svsetbrush = NULL? anybody know how to fix that?

in quake three engines the light is compiled and made before the map is run. therefor you cant attatch lights to objectets and expect to produce cool lighting effects

there are dynamic lights but they kill performance and they are not realy visuly pretty when shown on screen for extensive peridos of time. however things like gun flashes and lightining on radar are good uses
