That’s the least I can say as a South american player… just fuck you and all your USA servers. 1300 hours played I really love this game but you just don’t seem to care about us (people playing with 150 ping as minimal). It’s been almost a year without brazilian servers… I get you’re fixing bugs but come on… People even offered paying for those servers just to be able to play this game and you don’t even care

I have the feeling you don’t understand how companies like Nexon handle servers. Sadly it’s a devils circle. But when there are not many players in that area, they don’t make many servers. Or any at all. And that leads to even less people from that region playing.

I also believe the SA server situation is due not because Nexon cares little about them. Nexon has numerous people employed. I don’t find it likely that every single one of does not care about the matter. Unfortunately Nexon as a whole is a business and must follow some of the rules of business in order to survive just like a person does in their own society. Just like a person, not everything goes according to plan. Is anyone really perfect?

But we are talking about a whole Continent here, with brazil in it, which has some of the biggest cities. You can’t tell me that this doesn’t justify at least a few Servers.

I am prtty sure Nexon is competent enough to get SA servers if there were thousands of SA players.

The company Nexon has already commented about SA servers.

From this I get the impression that it is still not set in stone for the server locations. Things can change. Nexon is looking into it. it will take time for change if at all. the world is not perfect though. I doubt Nexon can please every single person. That is how the world works.
I can understand every one’s frustration though. I have been there with other things.
I don’t think over all we, the players, have enough information about all parties involved to really say one way or the other what the best solution for every one is. There is just too much we are missing. that’s just me of course.
I do believe Nexon will try to accommodate as many players as it can as well as take care of themself in order to keep DB going as best as it can given facts we also don’t have.

The thing is @Jostabeere, they didn’t get rid of the servers, they just moved them, so I don’t see the point of it. My ping to South America and US East is exactly the same. Where are the US East servers even located? If the South America ones are located in Florida, I mean isn’t that already classed as US East?
If they were trying to cut costs or something, why wouldn’t they just get rid of them? That would actually make sense to me rather than just moving them to an unjust location for the South America players.

They’re in Miami I think. Oddly enough, as a player in Florida, I get my lowest ping on the SA servers now.
Also, just thought I would mention this, U.S. East and U.S. West has very few players left. I have trouble finding a match at certain times of the day (unlike before where I could find 5 or 6 in any gamemode at any time of the day (and there would be full games as well). Lately however, I find myself looking at 0 games available, and it’s not just for Execution (which has few players as it is). There’s generally 1, maybe 2 full games in each gamemode, but of course I can’t join those. There’s a couple more full games at peak times.
The good news with the SA servers is that it’s allowed me to play more often because SA players are connecting to them which gives me, a U.S. East player, more options for matches. So it’s a good thing for me that U.S. East/SA servers were essentially combined although it’s still awful for SA players.
I’ve just noticed this over the past few months… The playerbase is dwindling for the U.S… On the other hand, the EU servers are always full and thriving and I’m jealous.
