Menus
Mercs Screen - Really not a fan
This screen does not know what it wants to be!
Are we buying/looking at mercs or are we setting up our squad?
As currently it looks like we are just buying mercs as the squad is really small in comparison to the rest of the screen which gives the impression it is just there for show.
Which took me a while to notice until I clicked on it by accident…
Then to apply merc loadout cards I have to click the squad card of the merc I want to edit, then select him again from the pop up menu, and then select the card I want.
Would right clicking on a merc to show the merc loadout card screen for that merc not be better, and quicker option? This would be handy in the match lobby area.
Loadouts Screen
Can we hide default merc load out cards because you can’t do anything with them or the trade up, just clogs up your box.
The ability to filter on the level of card would be appreciated, but guess you can do this by going into the trade up view.
Cases
Opening up more than one case can be a bit of an effort especially, if you’ve got more than two sat there. So can option to open multiple cases at once?
Merc Icons
From watching your twitch stream it was obvious that players who have played a while know the mercs, and their class. As a new player I don’t know which merc is what class. So looking at the teams setup I don’t know what we need…
On the merc cards, and head icons there should be a class icon. E.g. White cross for medic etc.
Pre-Game Lobby
It would be nice to be able to select the merc you want to start with, as well as feed back of doing this. As I always spawn with my F1 merc, and if I change it in the count down in game, or join once the game has started I have to wait till next respawn.
In Game
Limbo Menu
You’ve done away with it. Fair enough. ‘Pro’ players tended to bind their classes to keys and such anyway like you’ve done with F1, F2, and F3. And as there are no forward / backward spawns so no issue here…
Problem is there is no feed back of changing class in game while you’re alive.
Deployable Health
Been playing a bit of Bushwhacker, and you can’t tell if your deployable has been destroyed or not as the icon just goes back to the icon of the cool down soon as you deploy it.
Spawns
Currently they seem to be facing different directions. I’ve noticed this specifically as attacking on Terminal, and Bridge.
When I’m new to maps I tend to like to run at the objective the same way for that game to lean a route and not feel as lost. Obviously spawning facing in different directions of routes is frustrating.
This will also be an issue for competitive play.
Maps
Not played them enough to a specific views on all but I have some frustrations building on these…
