if you refering to moving trucks and tanks, then take alook at the goldrush .map for how it all works.

i think the tiger tank that is in ‘SoS Secret Weapon’ is the best model ever made and should be used in more maps!

whoever creates some of these models do a really great job at it!

Ok I know where to get lots of prefab models from but I still don’t know how to accees them with radiant so I can put them in my maps. Do I have to create another folder in my etmain folder like I do with textures, or is there already a folder existing that I put the models into. and do all the prefabs need to have a specific file type and Im guessing there is so what is the file type(s) I can use for prefabs? Finally, how do I access prefab models from radiant?

Yeah Im the guy that IM’d you a few days ago, this is where I found you originally. Thats sweet that ET has a South Dakota community. Anyways I’m in the beginning stages of mapping here, just looking at all the past threads and stuff see ya around.

prefabs for ET can be just .map format , i place them in a folder i made called prefabs and just placed it anywhere, then in radiant under prefrences/paths i entred thay folder location and when i want to import a prefab ill go to edit/load prefab and pick from the prefabs in the window that appears, hope that explains about prefabs.

i cant remember off top of my head how i put in new models , iam sure its written down in these forums or in the readme with the models you download.
