Friend bought me Legendary Founders Package for bday, can i resell it?

The game does not run on my laptop at all, which is weird as most other FPSes run fine and I don’t have much time to play or test anyway.

Can i sell it to someone for like half the price? Not sure if it’s legal or not.

Lately German government has taken some legal actions against Valve for similar matters. The government says the owner of the game shall be able to resell it and on the opposite Valve’s software is not supporting it.You might take a look on that case, especially if you live in Germany, otherwise I recommend you asking some lawyer for advice, yet it might easily cost about the price you want to sell the game pack at. Therefore why don’t you just keep it? One day you might find it fun.

Right now the game doesn’t run well on anyone’s laptop (have a look at the minimum system requirements for alpha/beta).

Hardware optimisation comes pretty late in the process and seeing as this is just about the earliest I’ve known for gamers to have access to a game in development there has likely been little to no optimisation done so far.

So it doesn’t work well right now, but with any luck should run at lot better further down the line.

Also if you already have access to the alpha forum section why didn’t you ask the question there, or better yet drop a PM to badman yourself?

I like the concept of the game and everything else. I’m just afraid that by the time that this game gets playable for me i’m already too busy with everything else. (Moving to Thailand etc.).

You can find the current system requirements for the Dirty Bomb Closed Alpha here in the FAQ. As others have pointed out, as Dirty Bomb is alpha, the game has not yet had its optimisation pass and so the system requirements will be lower for the final version.

In regards to selling accounts, WarChest’s terms of service prohibit sharing your login information with any other person.
