BRINK:
pm_jumpheight = 18 (default)

ETQW:
pm_jumpheight = 68 (default)

__

BRINK:
pm_bunnyhopfriction = 1 (default)
-this sets an invisible wall to all jumps, you may notice as you jump forward you stop then drop straight down.

ETQW:
pm_bunnyhopfriction = “unknown command”
just saying…

__

I recommend BRINK server admins set pm_jumpheight to 36 and pm_bunnyhopfriction to 0

I ask server admins to personally explore the SMART system variables. Mantling and Vaulting variables seem well set but jumping and sliding could do with some tweaking “to taste”.

With the jump height increased in ETQW, and some handy strafe work… I concluded that air friction caused a maximum velocity of 720ups (maybe slightly more, 40 at most). Air friction was non-existent when parachuting, but obvious speed caps stopped you going fast when doing so.

sounds cool

if maps are made to showcase SMART and the appropriate cvars are changed as need then there is no doubt in my mind it could be as skill dependent or more than say, ETQW strafe/trick jumping.

when you start making maps requring more than just a double wall jump then you have yourself a game. SDK koff

p.s. I am not a skilled player. I just know a few is all.
