Free rotation ideas

Rotation in his current state has some big disadvantage: to many people playing same merc and useless rotations because you already own the mercs
So my solution is to make rotations private and random for every person.
People who already have all mercs should get rewarded with cases or more chances to get a arsenal crate drop

I have proposed this idea a few months ago. This would easily stop the merc spam and give a little something to players who have supported the game.

I don’t recall who it was, but someone brought up a very valid point in one of these threads.

Merc rotation can be used to test matches in the event of merc spam. It helps to balance around that.

Would you rather face a team with four of the same merc in pubs? Or in a competitive tournament face a team of all one merc because they’re incredibly effective together? The merc rotation helps to find these things before they become a problem. (I also understand that competitive is not the same as a pub match. That doesn’t make my point invalid)

The first part of the idea sounds interesting and I wouldn’t mind it. I dislike the second part, though.

To be fair, the people working on the “useless” stuff aren’t the same people that are responsible for making maps and bug fixes…
