Free Play and Favourite Servers

Here is a thought: If a player chooses freeplay, and he has a list of favorite servers, it would be nice if the system checked those servers first for a matching game before checking other servers.

I assume that in freeplay the chances are probably slim that a server on your list (unless you have a big list) will match up with your particular freeplay map and side, but it would be nice if one does to default to a server you like.

Server browser probably isn’t done yet so this could still be implemented.

Freeplay isnt related to the storyline from what I know.

hmmm, what I was thinking was when you are playing the camaign (maps in order from one side’s perspective) on line, not sure what that’s called, I guess campaign mode.

My thought process was that if we set up a server such that it can be used for campaign mode, that it would be nice to go to our own server (when possible) for those times I want to play in that mode. In the case where I just want a game regardless of campaign progress of course I’ll just jump onto the server, so it’s not really relavant from that perspective.

freeplay, iirc, is like setting objective campaigns in W:ET, run maps in order you like, at least on PC

Well, I am thinking campaign as in the entire story start to finish, i.e the single player game but played on line. If it takes 10 hours to do both sides it’s around 5 hours for one side. So if you’re 2 hours in and are playing online, the chances of one of the servers on your favourites list being on that map and having a spot open on the side you are playing on is probably pretty slim.

I suppose it’s not that big of a deal.
