I mean, they did add X10 crafting kits to the new arsenal crates, which does effectively mean you can get a free cobalt for a Merc of your choice, and coupled with the increased earn rate for fragments, means people should be earning cobalts a tad faster.
However, more could be done, and personally I believe there should be better repay value for cobalts, as well as more systems in place to reward credits.
I like the idea of a prestige card to show that you are a veteran with a certain merc. Would grind to get that stuff no questions asked.

Well your still missing like oh I dunno 50000 Fragments. I mean don’t get me wrong but a daily reward of 165 Fragments you would need around 130 Days to get even a gold for 20000.
Factoring in the fact thats the old equipment cases are going to be removed even if you happen to get those delicious 10 Kits you are still far from actually hitting cobalt.
It has been a long time since then. Plans for this got pushed back due to priorities shifting and our plans going deeper and deeper into the system. If you saw a recent video of ours we said we’re only having one Aimee Obsidian as we’re looking to update the Loadout system to give you more flexibility. This is all linked together and will give you all a better system to enjoy and progress with.
Sadly we don’t have more info to share at this point, but just like last year, this year will see a lot of updates and improvements to DB.
