Fraggers grenades

Fragger’s already a really powerful character so I understand why his nades aren’t amazing but I’d love to see him be given wolf style grenades seeing that he’s the only character with them.
Maybe instead of giving him 2 just give him 1 on a long cooldown timer (think stokers molotov timer). Right now they’re not that fun to use just cause when your cooking it you don’t get the giddy excitement of knowing that when you throw it you have the potential to gib an entire blob of players.
They could pack a bit more of a punch at the expense of the number of grenades he has or even other stats like his hp / gun. His name is fragger but no one really picks him for his frag grenades, they pick him for his gun / tanking.

Could be worth testing. I’m far from being an expert with fragger, but I’d rather have one grenade that kills than two that don’t …

If it were to be a larger AOE/Damage then I’d expect it to be non-cookable and also remove the grenade indicator (maybe make it detectable by a sensor nade or something).

making a nade non-cookable - means it is only defensive / spam. a cookable nade is a good offensive weapon. we have only 1 merc with cookable nades, so i am for leaving nades as they are, but their quantity and damage can be tweaked, i think.

i am not sure, is there a head-nade multiplyier?

Maybe have both options then? I think nades are good as is even though you can’t get huge multi-kills with a nade (fine by me). They do allow you to kill campers and output enough damage to rush in after and clean up. If people want higher damage though, then non-cookable at least makes it harder to time perfectly. Not exactly spam at that point, but more like the traditional grenade in other games.

i’d like to have more options as well.
mb alt fire for nade - fragger grabs both of them and throws without cooking. so they make twice more damage.

or just add more different (cook / noncook/ acid / explode-on-hit / electrical) nades for more mercs.

Thats only half true.
Non-cookable hades for def. are spam and prediction only.
But for offense they have to be well trained and timed to knock out those camping positions… (Best example cod 1 and 2)
So for me i prefere stronger non-cookable nades!!!

in order to please more ppl, i think it would be right to introduce it all.

cook and non-cook nades as well as detonate-on-hit.
with more range, but less dmg.
with more dmg but less range.
