Fragger so stronk

I understand that fragger has no team perks and is team reliant to maintain efficiency. I just think his grenades are on too low of cooldown. Nerfing him much more than that would overcompensate. Lowering his health might be a common recommendation, but for pushing hes really one of the only options (and to really push he needs a meidc behind him and ammo from time to time). His ammo mag could be cut a little, but I think most guns are comparable among skirmishing mercs.

Reading other posts it seems that the data is often not analyzed from the perspective that try hard/skilled players are the ones playing fragger at the moment. We would need to see how good players on x merc fair against a fragger, rather than saying wow that FPS veteran beat up a bunch of noobs who walk onto nades. There are many classes in many games that fair well against bad players but are balanced on higher levels, heavy and spy in tf2 to give just one example.

The main complaints about Fragger’s grenade ability is that its an instant kill, which I’m not sure if it is or not considering at the moment most of the higher health but low speed classes are not available and that people say its a one hit kill, I’ve survived a couple close range grenades and there is a loudout perk that decreases recieved explosive damage, even one that lets you throw them back, which seem to be made only to affect Fragger if the Fragger in question didn’t cook it long enough to have his grenade detonate when right ontop of an enemy.

Another involves that the grenade gibs players, if it gibs them at ANY range of the blast rather than say if they’re in the center, I’d understand the annoyance but I ask what’s wrong with that rather than get shot and then shot/stabbed while on the ground.

Proxy Landmines, a direct hit from Nader’s grenades, a Fragger grenade detonating nearby, Skyhammer airstrikes, Arty strikes, all of these can instantly kill and gib a player.

They are supposed to instakill people. Grenades in Enemy Territory also instakilled if they exploded right near you.

All this “Fragger nades are too stronk” is all a bunch of whining, to be honest. It’s GRENADES, not bottles containing fart.
