So Fragger got a nerf on his grenade in the current update? I played against a Rhino and threw nades in his face 2 times in 2 execution games.
He was about 3/4 of his health when nade exploded perfectly, yet he died. Survived both times with slight HP.
Don’t Fraggers nades supposed to onehit everyone like Proxys mines?

But a Fragger havint less than 3/4 and 3/4 surviving both times with 1 HP?
the removal of the instagibs on imo just too many weapons is to prevent camping, mostly, because incapacitating them open them up for rezzing, and you’ll need to decrease their health somewhat to get an instagib, so show that you’ve been fighting a while.
personally though i think the nerf on explosives are dumb. a well-placed mine rendered absolutely useless if that person happened to be moving with a medic. suffice to say im not playing a whole lot of proxy right now.

I’m totally fine with No instagibbing. (This wasn’t the topic). I’m not fine with the fact a Fraggers nade to the face isn’t enough to kill a 3/4 HP Rhino, but a mine can kill 200 HP…
(And I don’t believe there are some forms of HP hacks or whatsoever), and I remember killing Rhinos with a single nade some times ago.
Max damage of the frag grenade is 180.
The Fragger you attacked with it has 150hp.
If he ran the M62 Power Rifleman(which is arguably the best loadout for him) he has Unshakeable which reduces damage taken from explosives by 20%.
Assuming you hit him perfectly for max damage, the grenade would do 144 damage, making him survive with a couple % of health left.
Was that maybe the issue ?

It was a stock loadout and he was damaged. I mean, 1 time I could miss. But 2 times a row?

Grenades deal 180 damage max and the radius is actually pretty small, so you basically have to be dead on.
I’d say it’s more likely you caught him with the outer radius of the nade, or that has fully healed, or healed up by a Sparks or Phoenix at that moment.
