Edxot - i’ve never tried your clientprediction method, may give it a go some time although my ping is usually quite high from my ****ty UK connection :mad: Can’t remember the last time i played public for xp rather than kills, i find i get top xp from going for most kills but rare occasion me playing public lately, seem to be online at night just for a couple of games of pro mod

Yeah I have to agree with Rex, what you do show in your config is pointless and not even remotely impressive and rather pointless really.
I also had to say what the **** outloud when I read how you change the client prediction. I’ve never heard something like that, and I don’t know if that would even make a different honestly, if you just keep it at one value (usually lower for the ex comp players) you would probably be a lot better off. I even know a few players who use negative values for their predictions.
The only thing I even remotely agree with you about in ANY of your posts is that the G3 is a good mouse. It’s certainly not the best by any means, but it’s what I have used since like season 2 of comp.
Also, if you don’t know what stroy down or up does at this point in the game, and you claim to have a super secrete awesome config, you should probably delete the game.

ok, i forgot to remove some binds there, wich are useless for others. i was only trying to show how they should configure their sensitivity. it probably lacks an explanation, but after all these comments i rather say nothing else.

those commands for ALT key is because i still have no use for it (but i should). i know perfectly well what is stroydown for, it was modeswitch that made me say that. i have done and i forgot it. must be useful (i will have to check). about the prediction, what am i suposed to say ? i do it that way, because it’s the way it should be used. if you dont believe it, the problem is yours. i could show a tutorial saying that, but you can shearch the web yourself.
if you have one, and dont think it is the best, then i ask you: what other mouse is better ?
but be honest about it, say some mouse only if you would change your g3 for that.

About the mouse thing and G3 being the best, unless you can tell me that you have tried EVERY other mouse on the market, then you don’t know that it’s the best. Also, saying something is the best, may mean you like it the most, regardless of whether it really is good or not, and most the time something being the best in cases like this changes based on the situations and the players using them. For me, it was the mouse I used before my G3 that broke and when I went to replace it I found that they didn’t make the model anymore, so I bought a G3 and a deathadder. I use both, just depends what I am doing at the time.
I will assume that remark about the violator was a shot at my signature, which is from an old comp match that was hilarious for reasons you wouldn’t know, and is a joke between me and some former team mates.
And about the prediction again, I have a hard time believing thats the way it was meant to be, it was meant ot be changed based on the players preference sure, but I don’t see how chaning it by 1 or 2 for every server would make any noticeable major difference. To say that I am clueless when it comes to it is a little off base. I have been tweaking all my settings for this game for the last 3 years and the current clientprediction I use what works best for me, regardless of if I am on a North American server or a Euro server, and trust me I’ve changed the value a lot of the years.
EDIT I also for the life of me can’t figure out why you have stroy down binded to two different keys?

Also i keep my clientprediction at 0, regardless of server, iv played on NA and euro with it, its fine. I find no client prediction is truely better than another as whatever it is, you learn to play with it and adapt your aim to it. I just find 0 feels nicest for me.
Favourite mouse: Lachesis, by a mile, i love it, when it dies, i will buy a new one. I have tried a G3 a deathadder and god knows what else, but my playing style suits the lachesis. <3
And ofcourse, very nice movie samurai although i told you that in person yesterday…lol

On the mouse topic, there is not one “best” mouse for everyone, each player has unique preferences which make different mice better for different players. I mean alot of players love the G9, personally i absolutely hated it, the hand shape and position of buttons etc were aweful for my kind of grip. Tbh the most important things when choosing a mouse is the sensor (ball mouse = fail :D), the shape of it, the type of grip it is suited to, where the thumb buttons are located, the size of the thumb buttons and how the scroll wheel feels. If they are all comfortable then it will be the best mouse for you. The technical spec’s are important but i find the feel of the mouse is how i decide.
Clientprediction - Varies alot, i usually start off with it at 0, but if i fail hard i change it to default (20) and see if any improvement, most of the time it has nothing to do with my clientprediction, just poor movement and aim from playing too long (get bored) or not drinking/eating enough.

half of 59 is 29.5, not 29
Oh thanks for pointing that out, I’ve never really stopped and looked at my movement, but it does show the majority of kills come from normal strafing with the odd crouch here and there. I guess i have just picked up that style from admiring other players like Bjorn & Vexx from the days when i was a noob and just learning pro mod. :o
