For some reason I’ve taken a huge hit in fps, from 100+ to 60 - 70 w/no changes to settings

Did you check the 2 new options in the ingame menu? I’m at work and cant remember it correctly but someting like game processing or so.

my fps is now down to 40 from 110, back to playing Crusader

Actually I have stopped playing Whitechapel .
I always quit on WC as performance is unbelievably bad there. Anytime anyone comes close combat I die. No matter what I do.-> 20-30 fps -.-
