Fps lag

At first I thought that this patch improved the performance, which I guess it sort of did, but I’m still regularly getting stuttering and dips to like 30FPS from 144.
Especially as soon as something, like explosions, start to happen, and when I’m turning rapidly.
I imagine that this has something to do with there being no draw distance limits in this game, maybe?

@AlienResidents That doesn’t look like its the games fault, looks more like something is hogging your PC for brief intervals. I would suspect either some programm running in the background or alternatively some sort of caching activity i.e. memory getting filled up and your PC starting to write to disk.
Could also be some faulty hardware maybe one of your ram banks not running right or something similar.

I’m happy to work through this, but I doubt my 16GB is getting filled up (according to resource monitor).

Things I’ve tried with no effect on the lag:

 • I’ve disabled AV permanently, and rebooted.
 • Tuned my startups using msconfig to only start required progs.
 • Playing with and without a headset (G35).
 • Run resource monitor and watch for memory spikes
 • Run GPU monitoring tool

Still can’t find anything. I’m happy to do more if you, or anyone else can suggest anything further.
