FPS lag & unable to enter passwords

I used to have top FPS whilst in the launcher now I have 35fps and a delayed reaction when clicking or hovering. If I hover my cursor over a server in the browser, it highlights it about 1.5 seconds later.

When I double-click to enter a password for a private server, the same time delay is there plus nothing enters the password field when I type it. The cursor blinks.

this was already slow but now its painful.

And here, it seems even slower than last build hovering the list.

i get 23* frames @ 1024x768 with Video/Post Process ON, and 333ish* frames with it OFF. doesn’t want to stay OFF, though, or doesn’t kick in until you load a map?

*in the server list, mind you.
