You cant play as in: “Bad framerate”, or as in “I’m too elite to play with normal textures etc”?

Yeah its pretty stupid. Don’t understand why they decided to fuck over fps configs when they didn’t even optimize anything. Use to get like 30-60 fps before update, now I get like 35fps that goes down to like 20fps mid fight.

Each update your config gets reset. I edited mine to include the FPS cap I use to keep my GPU from having a tantrum and it worked as usual. More information on your actual problem would be useful if you want help.

I already know this. I backed up my old config. They set a limit to how low some settings are.

Yes, some thing with “particle”. Config can’t be as low as they were

You need to update your config with the new allowed values. They did not remove the ability to use them. Give it a bit of time and whoever you borrowed your cfg from last time will update it with the new allowed settings.

Also, this update, despite it being at the very bottom with little fanfare did have performance fixes put into it. I’ve already talked to quite a few people who say the game performs quite a bit smoother for them now.

Also, apparently my FPS cfg still works for a friend. I didn’t remove any foliage/explosions/muzzle flash but I lowered everything else possible. So perhaps mine works while the ones like what Outc1der (his cfg is popular) and others use will no longer work.

The minimap optimisations will help a lot for people suffering stuttering from the shitty UI. Still recommend disabling minimap altogether to have it be even better though.

Yep, even with minimap disable, i’m happy with this match because it will maybe work a bit better. My hitreg were better today. Dunno if it’s due to the maintenance or the update.

I’m waiting for more drastic optimizations.
