Clue is in the title I would like to know if there is/or will be a FOV slider and if the FPS is capped, also I would pay for instant access now. However I need to know the answer to these questions & also is there any SLI driver profiles. I am not killing off one GPU on my 690, just to test a game no way, oh on a side note is it client side hit detection or server side?
FOV and max FPS questions among other things.
UE3 has no problems with FoV, but the sad thing is I believe it has limited fps and it does use engine-specific framerate smoothing. I have always had problems in UE3 making the game run at 120fps, and there are hardly any games that use raw input. I can’t play a game that is a shooter if it doesn’t have raw input, negative mouse accel is a huge problem in many games such as Farcry 3 and it ruined the multiplayer for that game completely for me because the developers don’t see it as a problem when it’s just as easy to aim with a controller as it is a mouse…
Hopefully this is not the same case in DB and if DB fixes this issue I would have no worries for DB’s success as a PC shooter.
Yup I know about Far Cry 3 I had to lower my mouses DPI drastically I normally go Raw input 0 sensitivity Max DPI. What card are you running if you don’t mind me asking?
I asked one of the (french) dev when the first video of DB was released and he confirmed me that you could set the fov to 120 max

This is definitely one of the concerns I had as well. It seems there are a lot of UT3 games with a maxfps of 90, though I have seen some over that “hard cap” so hopefully it will be possible. Another thing I really dislike is when games have an iron sight/ADS but not a way of adjusting the sensitivity for said mode. Generally I’ve seen a lot of games (and ut3 engine games) that when using ADS/ironsight, the sensitivity is extremely low/I feel like I’m going to get tennis elbow trying to continue tracking someone. Hopefully someone will be able to shed some light on these concerns soon.

Is it strange to be straight and yet love another man? Thanks for the reply on that portion of my concern
