Found a Brink reference in Dirty Bomb!

It is 2020 and the once great city of London stands abandoned after a mysterious disaster, a dilapidated shell of its former self. Now the streets of London are the playground of Private Military Companies (PMCs) who battle to control the city’s abandoned riches. After all, what’s a little radiation sickness when there’s money to be made?

The mysterious disaster was obviously Brink.

would be funny if people came in to the ark cause london is kaput, therefore no life on earth anywhere whatsoever.

It would be extremely neat if it is part of the same world as Brink, but SD is unlikely to unravel anything as Bethesda owns the rights to it… Which is unfortunate… :frowning:

As much as as a trainwreck Brink was, I have to admit the setting was interesting and fresh.

Brink had some very beautiful world design in multiplayer games.

The world was great and the character customization was very fresh and unique. I liked that a lot. I totally would like to see more of that.

As much as i’d love to see Brink references in DB, this one line is pretty vague

wasn’t Brink supposed to have a loose tie in to the mainland world of id’s Rage? Both probably would have been better received with the current Mad Max enthusiasm for that style of post-apocalyptica

Actually my point was that the release of the game “Brink” was the disaster that made London unhabitable.
