Are you zooming? I only have this problem om 125% zoom.

(Indloon) #42

Yap, I wasn’t zooming before.

Yes, over 125% zoom it goes out, it has something with margin,padding, happened with me before, for fix I used lower width value at element.

E: I tested it out on 1024x786 resolution screen and it looked okay, then I took my iPad and yes, the search was out of the position.

Other things goes wrong on zooning. Cant believe they want everything to go right in every zooning possibilities, on every browsers.

For example, if you zoon making the top tapir images goes out of the screen and them roll the horizontal scroll, you will see that the tapir image was cuted.

Google Chrome here, but i believe it happens IE also.

Would like a zoom that maintain aspect ratio of all elements. Zoom like in Photoshop or Gimp, PBrush etc…
Thanks guys,

we will be adding a workaround for the ‘cannot log in’ bug sometime today.
(When Badman wakes up probably ;-))
Works now fine… thx for fixing.

Just an FYI the zoom issue is probably caused by the WebKit integer rounding bug for subpixel layouts, i.e. when zooming subpixel calculations are required and rounded wrongly. Bizarrely enough this was fixed in WebKit about 2 weeks ago, mostly by moving to floats for layout calculations, so this should probably make it into Chrome in a couple of months.

However if you’re willing to not be so tight on the perfect alignment there are always ways to fix it site side
e.g.

.navtabs li a {
 padding: 0 7px;
}
