@Nail informed me that my name is not on the members list on Warchest, but every time I try to register it, it says it’s taken. Ardez is also not on the members list, but it must have been taken when you tried to register?

I guess there’s a reason for this, but I don’t know…

I have the same issue as well, it shows my name is taken but there is nobody by that name on the user list.

Mine said it was taken too, for both the email and the username, which I thought to myself is complete BS, so I went to “I forgot my password” typed in the email in question and had them send it a password reset request. I was able to gain access to the account after that and link them.

I figured it was unlikely that someone else had my username, and was right… they didn’t but somehow there was already an entry for my account in the system, even though I don’t remember making it… but non of the passwords I’ve ever used worked.

If this is the case for anyone else and you recover the correct account, you might need the help of an admin to re-point your forum account to the correct WarChest account afterwards.

Man, I miss being a canary field.

But did you want a nice username for your Warchest account but you can’t because some a$$hole had taken that name before? (My case: I wanted to use “Black Beret” as my username but had to use this name for said reason)

is it a bad thing to be logged in to this forum while being logged in at the same time to the Warchest\DirtyBomb forum?

And, if I have the same username on both forums, how do I tell that my account got successfully migrated or not?

(logged out and back, and recieved the message and did the migration)
If I see on my warchest account under the applications tab that the Dirty Bomb forums have access to my account, it should be OK, right?

I’d made an account I think a month ago, so already got my name.

All I had to do was just log into both accounts.
