Forgotten models of S&M - Released

What is so forgotten about this anyways?
A little insider to our work

Over the few short years S&M Mapping has made many models and released quite a lot of them to the community as well. With this there were made also many models that never saw the daylight or were part of an old project that has been long forgotten. Untill recently when we discovered our old stash of models and decided to clean them up and make good use of them.

Fiat L6/40
Metal coffin

Italian light tank Fiat L6/40 was not a popular tank around the Italian army mostly due to it’s outdated design and armory. They were no match to the more superior Allied tanks and therefore they were given the combat role; disabling mobile infantry. Sadly even in that role the Fiat L6/40 acted poorly. Therefore it served the proud name of being a Metal Coffin amongst its troops.

We are not really working actively on anything atm. Our last project is a map that takes place in Greece, but we have not worked on it for a while. It is not officially halted and burried tho.

Currently am working alone on my RTCW SP mission based on our Capuzzo Airport. Have first 2 maps almost ready to beta stage. And I’ll probably make one or two maps more for it. Too bad that the engine, BSPC, Q3MAP2 and the dead soldier animation bug limits me quite much on the lenght of the maps. That’s why original Capuzzo Airport had to be cut into two maps. Am having fun tho and that’s all what matters to me. :tongue:

Nice to see that you’re making a map/mappack for rtcw. There aren’t many mappers left for the poor game. :frowning:

I noticed that wolfmap.de has not uploaded the models yet so I am wondering if anyone can temporarily upload them to a secure place for some time? Speedyshare will delete them soon. My Laptop got a virus yesterday while I was working and it ate all of my registry files. Now my computer wont boot up, meaning I must reinstall my OS. So I will lose all my files again.

The computer I am on right now is 9 years old and I don’t have high hopes for it.
