There’s already an obsidian for Vassilli and Proxy. I have them both. So that doesn’t really matter. I can hope if it’s proxy that at least I will get a better weapon.

More commenting that people say phoenix shouldnt get in due to him already having an obsidian. Not everyone has him either. A character having an obsidian shouldn’t be a reason they shouldn’t get another. I’d rather have a better loadout for all my obsidians. Actually, I’d rather a newer character who doesn’t have one already got it, but that probably won’t happen unless Stoker pulls out the surprise victory.

While the obsidian has probably been bought by way less people with more ingame time and the result would probably be different if only the person who got it would be counted.
Still, why people who wont even get it have a impact on this card ? I get it for the culprit card but I dont think its right for the obsidian, lots of people who spent real money on it will get a card determined by lots of people who didnt even bought it, doesnt it sounds like flawed to you ?

I wonder how many of the people who actually bought it played proxy on the first week or Vassili on this one… I mean wasnt the whole idea of this event to get the people a card for a merc they liked to play in the end ?

Considering in reality it’s a popularity contest… A good margin of those people probably played both Proxy and Vassili. I don’t see where the disconnect between it being Obsidian and players not playing the popular mercs come into place.

Why would they rage because they’re not getting the Obsidian. If they bought it then they would have the same amount of influence over the merc as every other buyer. Now 9x% percent of players decide about a card they won’t ever get.

As for the loadout it will contain, I can confirm it will be fixed, but I cannot confirm which one it’ll be. It will most likely be a loadout that hasn’t been included in previous Obsidians if that Merc has Obsidians.

It would be very uncool if the card had the same loadout as one from HB. Pretty sure most people who bought the Obsidian also bought the HB.

my question would be…if the obsidian will be fixed. I hope it won’t be the worst loadout …certainly I am already expecting it’s not gonna be the best (but…knowing that they gave skyhammer the best possible loadout via founders, my hopes are still not dead…)

tl;dr I would really like to know if the selection of a “fixed” loadout has any logic behind or its purely SD decision
