I only play domination because I think vehicle combat is retarded. That’s probably because I’m old school and believe vehicles are a crutch for people that can’t aim. I know some people actually enjoy driving a tank/chopper so if you enjoy that sort of thing you’ll probably like conquest.

Conquest and vehicle Combat actually is, what BF is about. ( For me )

For everything else, there is COD :stuck_out_tongue:

Never got why so many ppl. played maps like “Metro” or got the Close Quarter DLC. If I want this super noobish “infantry fights” I would buy COD.

Still have so damn good memories from BF 1942 and Vietnam, especially @ LAN :slight_smile:

Yes BF is totally a game for Public Matches but I had so much fun in BF3, especially when Wake Island came out and Armored Warfare was a damn good DLC. :slight_smile:

I only played Metro

Metro is the most horrible map, EVER made. + When Dart got into the game, it even got worse. Later in BF3, the whole Playerbase would rate themselfes on how good their K/D is on Metro only servers.

Absurd.

BF for me still is El Alamein and Vehicle Combat.

Nearly every FPS has a better gameplay when it comes to “infantry” fights. But nowdays ppl cry when they get owned by a tank driver + repair guy. “so low skilled”:stuck_out_tongue:

I just remove this bad demo from my computer today after 3 days of testing … this is just crap as it is.
But I wait for the final release (try it from a friend account ! I dont want to buy it for the moment) to check if that’s bad as the “Demo” was.

What makes me sad about the fact of Extraction will not the game that I want, is that now, I have no good FPS to wait.
I don’t play a lot to FPS games now, while it’s my favorite kind of games.

BF4 demo is great. Only getting 40 fps atm and there is freezes and crashes, but it will be a very solid game on launch.

I enjoyed bf3 “esport” for what it was, it was never intended to be played as a “esport” game.
But still it was played by a small number - the community gave it their passion for the game, there is where the beauty lies.

In case of BF3 there was a great number of players who destroyed the game beforehand in saying the game sucks. Many had way too high and unrealistic expectations too meet, thanks to the ad campaign^^. Playing BF3 on lan is a completely great game!

It doesnt matter whether the game is made for “esport”, as long there are players who have a good time playing it.
Im sure being a game too competitive is leading to a less social environment, cause the more struggle for sth, the more ppl forget their roots. im afraid of the day when “esport” gets an industry like sport :S
