Folders for mapping & gaming.

Yo!

A few days ago I found out that I wasn’t supposed to use textures from custom maps, so I put all of the custom ET-maps in a folder named “hold”. I was just wondering, is there a way to make 2 seperate “Wolfenstein: ET” folders in Program files, or if not, to at least be able and put the customs some way to be able to play them, without having to move them when I want to play the customs on a server. (yes, sigh I have so much free time that I am able to play & map… :eek2: )

Thx in advance!

Why not install a fresh ET into a different folder - if existant, on another HDD?

Kk, gonna try that. Further updates will follow, thx for the info!

that’s what I do. I just have 3 installed of ET (gaming, mapping, testing)

I have 4 installations of ET:
c:\program files\mapping\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory
c:\program files\modding\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory
c:\program files esting\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory
c:\program files\playing\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\

I’ve installed the playing one as last one.
testing is just pure (only ET + patch).
So if you want to test a map just copy it from mapping into testing.
If you have used custom textures unfortunately you will see the orange + black texture.

I’ve succesfully installed 2 ET’s. One named “ET-Gaming” and one named “ET-Mapping”. They both were succesfull in installation as well as playing. Thx for the info dudes.
