Fog / farplanedist problem..

I’ve got a problem with fog on a map i’m building… I seem to see the skybox walls in the distance from certain angles when i add fog…
i’ve tried changing farplanedist and fogclip, but no matter what i change them to a still see the skybox from certain places… Has anybody come across this or have any ideas…

I had this too. I couldn’t get the skybox to behave so in the end I got rid of it. In the shader for the sky should be a line like:

skyparms textures/somefolder/sometexture.tga 512 -

if you change it to:

skyparms - 512 -

then you won’t get any sky being drawn. This may not be what you;re going for though and is only suitable if you use total level fog.

Eventually got it to work… unfortunatly still don’t know why it happened…
Just deleted me skybox and created another… hey presto it worked…
