Fletcher's bombs and griefing: Make them single-target after they've been affixed too long

(Terr) #1

I had a game just now where a teammate () was cooperating with an enemy Fletcher ([url=“http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198054786396”]), carrying enemy sticky bombs and killing his own teammates. When I confronted them after spectating , they claimed it was for a Youtube video.

To block this style of griefing, Sticky Bombs that are on a player for more than X seconds should lose their ability to harm that player’s teammates.

But this is what makes fletcher amazing

Just let it pass , in sure you wont be encountering many people doing that

(Yes) #3

Mercs really shouldn’t be balanced around what trolls do with them.

(Temporary) #4

@Terr Might want to remove their names from your post before a Mod does it for you btw.

How about no, should everyone suffer because of a few people doing the wrong thing?

(irishrOy) #5

Just bc. some people are doing their shenanigans with a Merc doesn’t mean the Merc if OP or needs to be balanced in any way…

(cornJester) #6

I’ve literally never encountered anyone doing this… I don’t think the merc needs to be changed because a couple of people did something.

Well, 10 years later and Spies can still take enemy Engineer’s teleporters into spawn. Doesn’t mean the whole feature has to be removed.

(irishrOy) #8

Tell me, how? How can a Spy take up a teleporter?

(capriciousParsely) #9

If a Spy is disguised he can take enemy teleporters. On some maps Engineers can make teleporters in their spawn so the enemy Spies can take it.
