In my opinion, Fletcher should be able to detonate his stickies while downed. (If Nader can activate a nade, why can’t Fletcher just “Push it with his finger”?).
Don’t you just hate it when you’ve got your bombs stuck on the enemy, but they kill you first? Not only will this reduce the frustration, but it will also increase the already low Fletcher population. (Not to mention the fact that he is sort of a poster merc)

Fletcher suggestions
By that logic, players should be able to remove sticky bombs from themselves… because they can unstick. That’s just a bad idea really, every merc has its own unique abilities, no point crossing them over.

If you’re frequently getting killed as Fletcher before you can detonate your sticky bombs - the problem is 100% you.
It is outright smarter to sloppily throw a sticky and get only minor damage on an enemy, than to skip out in front of them and tapdance around trying to get direct sticks only to die before you can do any damage.
Good players, not even great ones, use Fletcher intelligently: Use cover. Barrels, crates, pillars, and corners everywhere work great to prevent your enemy from getting good hits while you lob sticky bombs at their feet and incap them. As you get better at aiming and timing, it goes from taking 2 stickies to incap a person, to 1 to incap, to occasionally insta-gibbing an Aura or similar all while they are only ever capable of hitting you twice with an SMG. The trick is to outplay the urge to blindly give your enemy an easy target to riddle with bullets.
Underground is an absolute playground for Fletcher.

Hello dear sir. I took your advice and started training. Of course, like a useless sack of crap I am to the team, I decided to bring my whole crew and all rush the objective as Fletcher. Needless to say the world has never had enough sticky bomb that day. Thnx for the suggestion. Would Fletcher from now on :3
