Fletcher shotgun the weakest?

I’ve played both Aura and Proxy with the Raven shotgun and it did very well. Now that I unlocked Fletcher I find his signature shotgun to be extremely weak. Pretty much always takes more shots in any situation than the Raven.

(Personally also find the machine gun he has pretty weak compared to the machine gun proxy gets but that might just be me)

Fletcher’s shotgun indeed has lowest DPS, but is much more accurate, and efficient at engaging targets mid-range. The pellet spread is also tight enough to make aiming for the head more effective.

His machine gun has insane rate of fire, and by numbers, has the highest damage potential of all the secondary machine pistols (Proxy’s tolen, Vassilis MP400). Just aim for the head, and you can take people down extremely fast.

I also have found Fletchers Shotgun to be fairly good at mid ranges. It’s stats show as the best long range (all relative to the other shotguns of course) of the 3 shotguns. When you look at the Ahnuhld’s spread patter by shooting at a close wall you’ll see a nice tight star pattern. Even out to what I’d call “medium” ranges.

Also that lil Machine Pistol he has is great I think.

The other two shotguns are more or less the same it seems with just minor stat differences + or - between them.

You must understand, I have to grind my 500 agrees so I can go get a life

A shotgun is a weapon designed for close range. Making it the best of all 3 shotguns in medium range but the worst in closed ranged makes it a shitty shotgun. Since in closed range all other shotguns will beat it and at medium range any of the primary machine guns beat it.

As for the machine gun having the highest fire rate? what? It has one of the lowest… i’m talking about the primary… it’s horrible.

They are talking about his secondary explaining what the advantages of his default kit is and his secondary is part of this.

The Blishlok has been talked about quite extensively since Aura can have it too. While it is regarded as a bit unreliable it does have the highest per bullet damage of any SMG it even deals more damage than the M4 but you have to be good with headshot tracking and dodging at the same time imo.

As for his primary look if you want an in your face shotgun thats fine. You can get one in a different loadout. His default shotgun is for people who don’t like shotguns since they usually lack midrange power. Which the Ahluhd doesn’t.

Fletcher’s default load out is a bit weak if taken as individual pieces, but when used together along with his sticky bombs they are quite deadly. I use the shotty to get a quick opening head shot and then switch to the empire to finish them off. Or if you can detonate a sticky to open the fight the shotty will one shot pretty much anyone.

The Empire is almost identical to the Hoschfire, which is one of the better smgs in the game. That weapon does fine as a primary, let alone a secondary. When used in conjuction with the Aunuld and sticky bombs I think his load out is more than adequate.

I think its more about getting used to the Shotgun, I Find the Ahnuld-12 to be really powerful and do really well with it, But give me any other shotgun and watch me suck :<

Aiming for the Head is ofc the most important thing with this shotgun, if your shooting body shots you will not do very well a Headshot mid/close range can take out a proxy/Aura in one shot and pretty much disable any other heavy class.

But to be completely honest with Fletcher you should be using the sticky’s way more then the shotgun. (Weaken the enemy then finish off with shotty)

A Neat trick i have been doing is: Throwing a sticky at an enemy and then shooting the sticky on the enemy’s body.

Overall it seems like people are complaining on the forums that Fletcher is weak and calling him Op in game :3

Secondary wise the Empire-9 I kinda hate it and rarely even use it, i would have to be out of Sticky and have no loaded shells to even think of using it >.<. I dont find it too reliable as it tends to stick in the heat of battle(Switching and trying to fire in quick succession and the it seems to not fire half the time)
