Fletcher Problems.....

So anyone else finds Fletcher Buggy af like 1. when throwing stickies sometimes they dont even throw | 2. Detonator sometimes doesn’t even go off :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes. It’s been a very common problem since the last update dude. I get this all the time, hence I’m not even using him at the moment until it’s fixed.

Also afaik it has been reported @saltyCruller but who knows when we will see it fixed. It’s been happening with Fragger as well. It just puts the nade away and you end up with an 8 second cool down even though you definitely waited long enough to throw it. It’s like they’ve changed the amount of time you have to wait before you can switch away from using an ability.

Thought it was just me and my timing was off.

But I remember using Fletcher previously with no problems.

The delay is a bit weird at times, it’s really annoying but used to be a ton worse.

A few times today my sticky didn’t detonate. I don’t recall this happening earlier.

This has always been present and is produced by high ping. Pretty much anything above 100ms and I always detonate before the server realises I’ve thrown it - thus, they don’t actually throw properly. Similarly, sometimes I see it throw and when it lands and I press the detonator, only for it never to explode; this is because the server still thinks it’s in its “arming” period of 0.5s (0.33/0.35 with lock on/quick draw).

This doesn’t have anything to do with high ping for me, almost works better on high ping servers than when i have 30 ping.
