I have just saved up enough money to buy either of these mercs. Which one do you feel is better and/more fun. I have played fletcher for about an hour before and i want to know from someone who has played both which they prefer and why. Thanks for the help.

The two are too different to just say one is better or more fun. It depends on which one you prefer and enjoy more, everyone has their own preference. Unfortunately that means gambling with your credits and just buying one first, or waiting for one or both to be in free rotation so you can actually try them out.

As of now I’d go with Fletcher. Got both and can say Fletcher is more fun, also not a fan of the Grandeur weapon that goes with Redeye. Untill they fix the gun I won’t be playing Redeye D:

These are my two favorite mercs!:
Fletcher - engineer, raw power in sticky bombs, slightly below average guns though, takes time to learn how to use stickies
RedEye - recon, poking&positioning, very difficult gun to get used to, more supportive.
Overall, both classes play differently than what is out there, and both will take a while before you realize their full potential

Fletcher is so much fun to play! So fast paced, constantly running around blowing things and people up with his stickies. Get good at aiming them, and you’ll rarely lose a fight.

Fletcher is the aggressive (and explosive) Engineer while Redeye is the marksman (and spotter) Recon
