Flashbang nade

(A_Tosa_Inu) #1

Dear Splashdamage

Is it possible to make the light effects of the flashbangnade with a bit more gray tint?
I oftern play in a room with no lights on, this hughe white flood gives me headache when i play Brink for a few hours.
Its like someone in real flash me in the eye with a tactical flashlight.
I never had problems like that with other games i play.

Otherwice i think i stop play Brink, and go hunting with my compounbow on tapir,

Its not recommended to use any kind of monitor/tv in a room with no other lights on. Should always have some other lights on.

Personally I hate having a lot of lights on also so I have a lamp with a drape over it to dim it and another lamp with the top covered to keep the light low. they are on either side of my tv and almost always on while the tv is on.

They are very very bright and effective though, dont really use them at all but really hate to have them go off in my face.

Your first line is like, dont read a book in a room with almost no lights on, that bad for your eyes, it aint true.
You always go to the movies where there is light on? Mostly that means the movie didnt start yet, or the movie is over. hehe.

I just think they are a little to bright, especialy when you play on a big screen.
The lightning in Brink is pretty dimmed, and suddendly boom 150 lumens of light.

But i also play with the light on.

But it is true with monitors and tvs. At the movies you are pretty far away from the screen and the light is projected on to the screen not comming out of it. The only time I have the symptoms you have its from playing with no lights on, you may be fairly adjusted to it from doing it often but it DOES stress the eyes a lot which in turn gives you a headache.

Hahahahahaha Bout Security isnt always the sharpest knife in the drawer, follow his posts if you love being ammused.

I never had it with other games.
Making it a bit more of a gray tint wont blow up your pupils.
The eye stress coms from this bulk of white light.
And i know flashbangs have this effect, but this is a game not real.
Making it a bit more of a gray tint, so not that bright, gives the same effect.

You guys have funny accents in English

(A_Tosa_Inu) #16

Yes who cares, as long if it is readble.
I had no English on school. So i think its not that bad.

But i am gaming for 25 years.
And thats what its all about, having fun with games.
Brink is cool, i’ve been waithing for this for many years.
yes it has some issues, but still much beter than this COD multiplayers.

First games i played was: River Raid, and Boulder Dash on Commodore 64?
Back in 1985? or 1986?

I tryed playing with the lights on, it makes the Flashbangs a bit more normal.

And for this: All about security man:
I am living in the Netherlands, Europe, and my native language is Dutch.

Come here :stroggtapir: wanna shoot you and see if i can eat you.
You seem big, so your fur is going to be part of my new jacket.
