Flamethrower entity

Is there a way to have a flamethrower which is the same as the weapon entities you can place (rockets, grenades etc)?

yes… there is a flamethrower entity you can add like the rocket, mortar…
however i do seem to recall reading somewhere that certain props are not
suitable for multiplayer because of how the netcode works… or something…

you can add that to the end of your .def file or make another .def file with
that in it,
ie. mydefs.def

That entity is also really buggy. The flame spurts in one direction, but you actually take damage if you stand behind the flame source and not in the path of the fire. It also tends to spurt and sputter and not give you a continuous flame.
