Fixable Tank/Truck/Boat/(others) on the go?

Could one of you out there please make a mod so you can Fix the tank, when its only sightly damaged, half damaged… ect… not just when its compltely broken, i think this mod would make the game more realistic and would make some maps a bit more fair, please could someone do this?

I have seen other peoples requests and people have just told them to do it them self, and i would try, but i dont even know what language et is made in (prorrmaing language not like enlgish or summin), maybe if someone would point me in the right direction and give me a big push, i might be able to do it :slight_smile:

Do it your self? Yeah, ok, if you study C/C++ over 4 years to get to know it all.

You might be able to set the tank up as a multi-stage construction (repaired, damaged, disabled) with it able to move in the repaired and damaged stages. (maybe slower in damaged?)

think that way you might hit some script lenghth limitation. however making the tank repairable whne alive will probably make it shorter

ive not checked this yet but the part that makes the tank repairable is a script mover and when the tank is alive this is made invisible (or not in the world). Most that has to be done is to stop this disapearing when the tank is alive… and to set the construction progress meter to 0 every time the tank is repaired

not sure how this would effect gameplay… might make it much easier for the attacking team but could also have hardly any effect since the tank is often destrouyed by airstrike/artialy and being able to repair mid demage might not be very useful
