Fix the issues for high-end Hardware..

(slice) #1

Hello,
i really enjoy this game but the performance issues and problems with this game are getting annoying.
My PC can handle every other game maxed out in FHD with at least 90FPS. This is the first game so far i have this problems. First the game started to lag hard after some matches and i had to restart it to play lagfree again. I was able to nearly fix this with some Config tweaks. Now, after the maintenance the game just stop to work after some minutes.
Please make this game at least playable for me.

Hardware
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro
Mainboard: Asus X99-A
Ram: 16GB@Quad Channel
CPU: i7 5820k @ 4.3GHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 980
SSD/HDD: Samsung evo 850 250GB/Seagate 1TB

It is not my job to search for hours to find a fix for my problem.
Are the devs even testing updates before they release them ?
I know DB is in Beta, but it should be playable.

I also have the same problems, but it’s not as easy as you think for a developer to test it. They have tested it with their rigs and propably never had an error, but with so many different configurations out there, it’s quite impossible to test every single one of them…
I too have Windows 8.1 Pro, and I too have an Nvidia (but a GTX760), did you also (just like me) update your graphics drivers last friday before playing DB after the patch?
Maybe it’s something like that…

Hell even something simple as this site is not working on every browser, in IE it doesn’t load well or takes ages, in Chrome everything is fine… (although I do know for a fact that lately a lot of webdevs don’t test their sites in anything but their favorite browser)…

Sorry for my late response, yes i updated my nvidia drivers. Atm im updating DB (1GB update). Maybe this will fix it. Also will try to reinstall my old gpu driver.
Edit: After the update + old gpu drivers same problem.
Good Job devs.

Update your Mainboard Bios (there some new microcode updates inside), update your GPU Bios, always use the newest nvidia drivers (pls read update news on nvidia-download-site). in my opinion, throw away your win8 and get back to win7.
the devs give us updates and we test it! it´s beta. for a lot of people db IS playable!

db is for free! you can´t complain about probs YOU have on YOUR system.
Try using google. the unreal engine is highly configurable.
if you found a solution, post it here, so others can find some help

One thing you might want to try, for i7 CPUs you need to “unpark” your cores, do a google search, it’s fairly easy to do, never had to do it personally.

Otherwise, check out my custom config, my PC is not nearly as good as yours, but with this config setup I get 80~90 FPS most of the time, and most video settings are on max.

I already updated my GPU drivers, same problem, even downgraded them to check if it was a driver issue, still not working. Windows 8.1 is running fine, so why should i rollback to windows 7? The game was playable for me before the maintenance happened. Always have the newest BIOS.

And no, my pc don’t have problems, only have problems with this Game, can play every other game fine. I even bought some Mercs, so no it wasn’t completely free for me. BTW: Beta != Alpha. Betas should at least run :> Already changed some things in the CFGs, like removing fps cap etc (Which helped to make the game running more fluently).

The Problem isn’t my Hardware. If the Game is working i get upto 250 FPS with max Settings.
The Problem is that the game is just crashing back to windows complete random after some minutes. But thanks for the try to help :>

None can help ?

You need to provide more information, you say the game stops working, how? Does it just close to desktop with no error popup? When does it usually crash, in menu, in game, anytime, etc. Is there an error report file? Have you tried opening a support ticket with SD?
