As I have played Brink for couple of dozen hours with mainly assault rifles, I noticed that the recoil acts rather weirdly and I dont like it at all. This is probably one of the reasons why everyone seems to just pick-up a SMG over ARs. Tracking moving targets is incredibly hard and you need many bullets to take one guy down.
So, the case is that the recoil happens almost randomly and whenever it happens I lost all control of the gun and have to wait or spray’n’pray.
Question 1: Why does the recoil kick the weapon left and right aswell and not only upwards like usually in other games?
Question 2: Why am I able to shoot with absolutely no recoil at all when using 1-2 shot bursts? Okay I know bursts are the way to shoot with ARs but not like this.
Here is a video to demonstrate a bit better:
“For some odd reason Youtube wanted to add nice black borders around the video”
Do you guys think the recoil should only kick upwards on every shot and not that much?
to stop us from pointing the crosshair at the feet of the enemy and use the upwards recoil to do a full hit on the legs->torso->head.
