i’d say about 80% of the textures didn’t seem to load. is this because i did the cheap quick .bsp -meta compile or are they not loaded somehow in my etmapping game folders?? i did a clean install for my etmapping et.exe about 2 days ago.

when i hit L to go to limbo from spectator, the game freezes permanently. is this because i haven’t made a command map yet??

anyone have a favorite tutorial on capture the flag maps, making the .pk3, or caulk??
edit: :banghead: “i’d say about 80% of the textures didn’t seem to load” wouldn’t this be because of my clean install?? if radiant sees the textures because they’re in my game et install that doesn’t mean they’ll load if i don’t have them on my map et install. oy vey i feel 1/2 stupid and 1/2 smart for figure it out. but this raises another question:
should i collect all the textures i use and have them be a part of the .pk3?? if so, anyone have a good tutorial on that?? i was looking through the stickied tutorials and saw the et mappers bible thread. this says not to do this. hmmmm… if the map is 1.5 mb why not?? will it cause some kind of conflict??
