Fire button stops working

Since the last update I’m experiencing a problem with my fire button. YES, my fire button, our most important tool in this game :wink:

Sometimes, e.g. after I throw a sticky bomb or deploy my health station, my fire button stops working. I simply cannot fire my weapons anymore. After pressing my buttons in an uncontrolled way, I sometimes get one shot of my primary (shotgun) or my secondary (MP) goes into autofire mode - it just keeps firing without me doing anything.
This seems to happen at random times during a match.

If I die, everything is back to normal, until it happens again.
Reclaiming one of my stickies also seems to fix the problem for a short amount of time.

So far I have checked my local files through Steam and tried reverting my settings back to default, but so far no luck.

Edit: Propably should have posted in the bug section, sorry.

I have had this happen is a single game, at first I thought that it was the old bug which resets your keybinds, however looking through the controls showed that the binds were as they should be.

Yeah its happening to me too, very annoying. Only happening on fletcher for me but fixes for a short while after death

Yup, same here. When it happens, I try minimizing the game and most most of the times it solves the problem. However, I’ve also noticed that sometimes when using the mounted machine gun; it goes in to an infinite fire loop, and then when exiting from it, my weapons/abilities stop working, so I have to get in to the mounted machine gun again and quickly exit from it in order to fix the issue.
Update: I don’t know if it’s related to the cfg files because I’ve tweaked them a little bit, and I haven’t had any problems in an hour or so.

been happening a lot to me as well, rather annoying standing there with a full mag only to die like an idiot.
