Agree, if anything it raised the skill floor for him, and made cooked nades a little less frustrating since if he misses it or decides not to throw it he’s left without a nade for a period of time.

Seems fair to me, and it’s not like he still has the best guns and great health.

I’ll have to play with Fragger before I can order my thoughts on the change but my initial reaction is I don’t mind.

I’m cool with the Turret changes though. Properly utilized turrets are like a 6th man on the team. If you like to place them randomly they won’t seem as effective but well placed ones are crazy good. But really the changes aren’t that huge overall. The changes fit perfectly with the “fine-tuning” aspect of the patch.

One of these days they will fix the defib/revivr/minigun sound bug where you have to killallsounds to remove it. Also the reload bug if you crouch/uncrouch while reloading.

Everyone should stop saying Fragger was fine, he was my main merc and if I’m fine with this change so can everyone else be. The reduction in count makes it much more skilful to use and thus gives new players a harder time of perfecting him… trust me, he’s going to be next on rotation, do you want the old Fragger in the hands of everyone?

Everything else is amazing as well, this update is very well done and I’m glad to see these changes and fixes in place.

Fragger op ? Lets nerf pdp. I knew that fragger was SD favorite (as stupid as it sounds, but there was no other merc that was bluntly overpowered for over a year and still is) but buffing it now (since in reality he will have more grenades and will have 1 ready every spawn wave) is simply put idiotic. Sure, at least now you know that if he used one he wont have another but grenades are still unavoidable when used by competent player.

Was it really so hard to cut his hp by 10 and increase cooking time ?

I truly try to understand why is fragger suppose to be overpowered by design, i honestly cant find a reason aside from the fact that he is called fragger. Denial in SD balance team is freaking strong.

Theres also changes to the Driess that are not in the patch notes, I can’t tell performance wise if anything has been tweaked but the audio for reloading has changed and it sounds little more punchy. The Caulden sounds incredible tbh, I hope the other guns will get a audio overhaul over the next few months.

Yeah games like EVERY ONLINE GAME EVER.

Take look at TF2, there are sh#t weapons all over the place, people whine about them every day that they need buff and then there are OP weapons, that get nerfed either too harshly or too late and that gets also whining and still that game has over 50.000 players.

CS:GO for example has continues balancing and nerfs that happend to M4-A1 and CZ75 Auto got were too much and people whine about them. Yet again over 100.000 players.

Warframe is currently in balancing hell, powercreep everywhere and players whining about everything realy. Still more than 50.000 players every day.

Every game has whiners, for good and bad reasons. Not just the “not-so-well-known” F2P games.

As for the update.

Merc changes are for the most part good.

Weapon changes like Kek, hochfir, Timik and Ahnuld are good.

However i dont understand the PDP nerf, its ok at best and only good weapon for Redeye but only in range since he cant use anything in close.

Also im disapointed that the Grandeur did not get any changes as it is right now still crap thanks to recoil, bad iron sights and damage that is unpredictable. (leaves aura and sparks with 10 hp when shooting 2 times to their chest in close range)

Also Bishlock changes would had been good but im disapointed that this universal weapon didnt get any buff that would have been greatly needed. Its terible to use because of the terible scope, recoil, fire rate, dps and reload speed.

Kukri is still terible thanks to the odd hitbox and short range (it feels shorter than stiletto range).

M4 could use bit more recoil since its too accurate in hands of low and high skilled players.

Also, finaly we know some of the weapon ranges. previosly they were freaking odd numbers but now they make some sense since they are counted in meters.

Your options are lock in to a long stopwatch match or play the joke comp. Having friends is now the minority group, apparently.

You can play with friends just randomly on the same team or different teams. :wink:

I am not a fan of stacking pubs…

I hate those changes too. And I don’t see the logic behind only preventing you to play with friends in objective, but letting stopwatch untouched, though I should be glad that I can still grab a friend in stopwatch mode. Stacking of high level players is an issue, but should we really prevent people to play with their friends without entering competitive like that ?

People do not want team stack, fine. But maybe you guys should let some objective servers that allows you to pick friends with you. You can’t fill a private match if you’re only only three or two.

Want to play a friend play private or go stopwatch, finally no more unabalanced bs on objective casual i’m all for it.

Solo/group servers would be the answer here, but unfortunately SD have chosen another path. I almost exclusively play DB with friends, so this is the sort of change that will drive us towards other games that don’t inhibit friend groups from playing together, on the same team.

Probably the worst update … simply because nothing of the broken Anti-Cheat is fixed. Me and my friends are kicked out of servers so many times … it is simply not fun to play like this… and i noticed on competetive play as the game kicked me that i was forced to join back in, because i cant quit competetive matches. This fact makes the anti cheat useless if cheaters get back into competetive lobbies… And “real” cheaters dont get caught.

So either Nexon develops an effective and finished Anti-Cheat or simply don’t release one. People who play fair and put hours (and speaking for myself: MONEY) into the game get heavily screwed by the Anti-Cheat.

Making Fragger worse is not needed. No other Merc screws me more than Nader, and nothing changes here. Rest of the changes are good or okay imo.

You shouldn’t suppose that they won’t change anything IMO. This is a beta, and Splash Damage already proved that they are open to suggestions. If we make a thread asking for it, and if we get enough replies, we may end up with that feature in a few updates.
