Since you stomped Sparks into the ground with nerfs you might as well finish the whole deal by bashing PDP redeye’s head in.
Then i wouldnt mind the “add recoil to nerf most used guns” thing that these developers like to do. You’re not nerfing the burst rifles with recoil, youre making them more bullshit. same with the PDP.
also who thought kira needed a nerf? how about you touch fletcher before you touch kira. since kira actually takes quite a bit of skill and felther not so much.

@GawdZerrah You still perceive those guns as SMGs. They should never be at that level. Don’t look at Tolen/MP400/Empire as something that wins you duels single-handedly. Sparks is a long range merc and she should be at disadvantage in close combat just like snipers. So far she had a sniper weapon and SMG9-like weapon in her arsenal. That’s not balanced in my book.
You defend yourself by damaging an opponent with Revivr and finishing him off with Tolen. You miss and only hit with Tolen but run out of bullets? Guess what. You have another pistol that you never used before or run away and heal yourself since you are a speedster and a medic in one person.
However, I disagree with “revive health now gradually reduces over distance”. That should be her main asset and her reviving skills should be untouched.
So shotguns are still retarded OP, ok. lets just nerf all the guns that take skill to kill people and leave the skilless shotguns alone that dont require head shots to kill. Nice, seems like a win to me, lol.
Some good changes overall. However some choices are very questionable.
There’s also Sparks’s case. Machine pistol nerf + quick charge nerf + REVIVR falloff applied to healing feels harsh. It’s way too early to state that though.
A lot of these changes were uncalled for. Why are you guys balancing based on the average stats of the entire community?! That is fucking stupid! Balance around the top players, remove the scrubs from the equation!
@Smooth @stayfreshshoe When you guys collect the gun stats are you chopping off at least the top 10% and also the bottom 10% before compiling them to view for changes?

She used to be long range. Now she cant go too far away, or she will revive with 0,0000001 (ok maybe a little bit more), so now she is meant as short range medic, who cant portect itself, with no primary weapon (as mentioned before, they wanted to make machine pistols to same level as pistols) and no healing potencial. Sparks cant be used to heal rhino, because she run too fast out of med packs. Now Revivr is more like bad joke than anything usefull. I dont know why they “tune” something what isnt broken. What about focus on ammo box bug, when you get stuck if you jump on it? Or what about doing something about Bridge so attackers have some chance to win in balanced game? Or what about fixing that damned reload bug, when you finish reload animation with empty magazine? Or what about nerfing fletcher? Or what about nerfing rhino so he cant protect coridor on his own? Or what about some optimalization for low end pcs (well I dont personally have problem with FPS)? What about doing some events to keep old players in game?
In past half year when ive been playing DB there were only few changes. Few more mercs, two maps, dumb game mode, that no one actually likes, and alot, I mean alot of fune tunings, which usually made things worse.

I was hoping for mouse control loss to be reintroduced to Thunder’s conc grenades and that the inconsistent flashbang effect would be trashed.
I’m really wondering who the people in SD are listening for some of these.

After seeing what they did to Stoker I’m starting to think as Nader I should stop going for direct hits so they won’t be nerfed, but if I don’t go for direct hits I won’t get the benefit from doing direct hits… I shall limit myself perhaps 2 1 direct hit per game. Going to be a challenge since they decreased the inner radius by half. I see what you did there SD, I accept the Nader Challenge.
