Already meat more than 8 cheaters, instakill everyone in a second like a massive kill cheat, and all of them with fake accounts (only DB as game, and profile created few days ago) … F2P is just a cheaters kingdom …

The voting system is screwed I completely agree there, however the AC has been active for 1 week and I’ve seen a lot less cheaters, they clearly said it’s not an instant fix and it’ll need to adapt as new ones are discovered. Just curious, were you expecting it to catch all cheaters instantly as soon as they appear?

well just finished a game on Chapel.
we had a cheater in our team in attack.
He says ‘guys, ill boost your XP and credits, do not kick me’

other team was raped on spawn, we got to 3rd object, and i did what i had to do.
I took an object and went traveling to the other side of map, while calling to votekick the basterd.
i had to realy convince ppl, that he needs to be kicked lol, and i almost got kicked myself!!
but finally we kicked him, that totally made my day!

Im glad it still works to get cheaters kicked after some minutes of talk and failure. It takes a while for people to grasp whats going on and what they need to do, but yet it works in most cases.

insta-kill has plagued this game for months…
so yes, i expected the AC to catch it and kick/ban anyone using it…

if its not catching old/present hacks, then whats it purpose?

Sadly, I’ve come across 3 since the AC was released… Same hack.

This is were i plead ignorance, i dont know how a purchased hack works…
Does it update automatically for you to by-pass the AC? I dont know.

Anyways, its been a few nights of hack-free gaming, so the ‘frustrated response’ from before is somewhat moot at this point…
(of course this will only last until another hacker pops up and AC does nothing and worse of all Voting to kick fails once again)

I really hope this gets read by SD, across the many of the already existing cheater threads.

IMO there needs to be legal consequences implemented. There needs to some kind of forumulation in the license of DB that YOU, SD, can bring them to court and make them pay for what they do. It needs to be some kind of report system where there is a) trackability of the hacker so he doesn’t just change his account all over and over again, and b) you need to implement some report system where players can report him with videos and a log system which is 100% bullet proof AKA no fakes can happen and no wrong person can be accused.

come on, thats not gonna happen; you seriously think SD has the lawyer-manpower to sue people across different countries for breach of EULAs? Why do you think Steam, the biggest PC retailer only gives temporary VAC bans, that don’t even cross to other multiplayer titles.

New AC is a step in the right direction, but we will also need a report system in place, that can automatically filter suspiciously good players (a 0/12 vassilli shouldn’t be considered for cheat-evaluation) and feed that data either to overwatch-like volunteers, or Nexon staff.

Well, if not sue, at least keep them out. Make another Steam profile? Maybe add some kind of tutorial or beginner rounds in DB, so the account changes will get ALOT harder for cheater players. Cause currently it is just too easy even with AC. They just make another acount …

And that Steam does not ban across other multiplayer titles is just Steams fault. Another address to write to without getting heard. After all, it could all be so easy with the systems they already have. And honestly, i have no clue why they do not do that?

getting from banning someone in a video game to paying hard cash for breaching EULA is a huge step. Think about how the accused is presumed innocent, and how much effort it would take to prove that the person indeed hacked, rather than had their computer hacked, or thousands of other excuses people will come up with.

Regardless, maybe its since the announcement of the report system, but today ive seen hacker in every 2nd game, once even two at once; working together with wallhacks and triggerbots. Looking forward to the system itself.

I also think im not alone, since im getting accused for all kinds of hacks way more than i used to, even when playing with redeye who generally sucks compared to the firepower of fletcher.
