Everybody, I cannot tell you how long I’ve waited. Over the past 2 years i have waited for BRINK. Following its every move, reading every article, watching every video. Now, with it just 3 days from release, well. It is just too good to be true. I can not tell you how much I want this game to come out. Some people were excited for Call Of Duty : Black Ops, only because it is such a huge series. We though, are loyal. We have waited , and waited, and waited! I know, i know I am not the only person who has waited though all these dilemmas.

    Everybody , lets not take advantage of it. There will be glitches, there will be over-powered guns. Do not exaggerate though. BRINK has the best developer that could be behind a game. They will listen to us, and address the problems. So lets enjoy it. Lets not complain, or argue! I say, as a gamer who will tend to argue, in-game lobbies should not be like Call Of Duty lobbies. Be nice to each other.

yay. lets make this thread the “yay, waiting is over” thread.

i dont know how long ive been waiting for brink. i think i saw the first screenshots on a small german gaming site. when were the first screenshots released? i dont know. i do know though that i waited ever since.

first i had no idea what brink was all about. what got me first was the art style of the characters. it looked great. then i started to read and went like “hell, its a first person shooter, how cool is that?”. i read further and saw “developer: splash damage”. and i was like “****ing A, how cool is that?”.

with enemy territory one of my favorite shooters of all time, right behind the quake series and quake wars, which was more of a let down unfortunately, brink became highly anticipated for me.

yea, so, i think i followed the development pretty much from the start. im so eagerly looking forward to this game it must be a disapointment when i first play it i guess, because i have so high expectaions for it.

but i will see. next week. :stroggtapir: … whoah. that tapir hypnotizes me when i stare at it long enough.

I’ve been waiting for Brink for about two years. This doesn’t even seem real.

if it gets postponed again i will have to kill Bethesda, not SD tho as they could make BRINK 2!

I didn’t know what Brink was until about a year ago when my buddy Matthias told me about it. We had been playing BFBC2 for awhile (lol PS3 amirite guys?) and we were looking for something new to get excited about and he just happened to find out about Brink.

I kinda pushed my excitement for Brink to the back of my mind for a few months and worked on other things, then when it was about 2 months from release I got re-excited. I still find it hard to believe it hits day after tomorrow (I count the midnight release as Monday in my mind).

Every time I had something that was stressing me out this past week I nullified it with Brink, heh.
