filling up my map?

I’ve made a map, but I think it has way to much open space
And before adding the objectives and the truck, … I wanted to have it in an almost finished stage.
This is the top view:

Between the pyramid and the higher part there is this huge open place(middle up), on the right end of the road there’s a huge open part aswel. Any ideas to fill up the path along the road are to be thanked for aswel :). I am going to make a texture having the road, but coverd with sand. So it kinda goes over in eachother.

All ideas are welcome.

I was already thinking of a broken down tank or truck, or maybe an abandond hangar… I don’t know yet :smiley:

some palmtrees, grass and empty/partly destroyed buildings would be nice.

I totaly agree, some damaged buildings are always nice, the palmtrees are a good idea too, perhaps a ‘fortifaction’, like a defense thing, some sand bags and so forth.

if i remember correct in your earlier thread you had a painting with obeliscs or dont you count them to the map as they are said to be entities?

what about an empty spring?

Palm trees would be a bit out of place if anywhere close to the pyramid. Any water near it would have weakened the foundation.

Blocks of cut Stone buried in sand, an old destroyed French foreign-legion fort, tents, baskets, broken down vehicles, crates buried in the sand, or even WWII vintage destroyed tanks and artillery. Maybe a crashed byplane (love that English Patient).

i’ve made the waterplace bigger, added a a part of mountain some ruins and 2 shacks of wich one contains a health and ammo cabinet.

Should I make a another capturable spawn at the ruins next to the pyramid? or would it be to crowded for such a small map?

too crowded i think…
no another spawn but more things to hide…
some sand-hills maybe? or a holes <- like trenches
