  1. I dont know, ive never seen that problem.

  2. check the radiant manual, it gives a description of how to add weather effects. Also, you can use the search function to search this forum for topics about weather. Im pretty sure it has been brought up before.

  3. Your respawns arent working? You mean, you cant spawn? If so, you need to add maxmapcoords and minmapcoords keys into your worldspawn, and add info_wolf_objectives for each team. You can find a better description here: http://www.hummerdesign.com/tutorials/et_start.html

  4. The trigger texture is in the textures/common directory. Just select this texture and make a brush. Then right click it and select trigger and a submenu will open up with a list of different triggers.

  5. Well, the only way to tell if a map is too large or small is to experiment with the scale. For instance, make a test map, then load it up, and look at the dimensions. Also, in the editor, you can load a model - maybe a tank or something familiar, and see how big it is in relation to your map. That should give you a good idea of the map scale.

Hope this helps!

  1. Info_limbo_camera entities have to point at a info_notnull entity. They are used to look at certain parts of your map which have map specific objectives. Probably not worth bothering with until your objectives are done and the map is nearly finished. To setup a limbo camera, create both entities in your map. (info_limbo_camera,info_notnull). Select the info_limbo_camera entity first and then the info_notnull and press CTRL-K. The editor will then draw a green line between the two of them.

  2. Create simply blockout maps and plan out your map on paper first. I know its tempting to start straight away and create something but a fullscale map needs a good plan first.

If you only have spawnpoints and NO yellow blobs as SD usually calls em. (Yellow Blob = team_WOLF_objective) then u should deselect the “startactive” switch. This actually seems like a bug in the engine, but i have had the same problem several times.

If you want more spawns just add a “team_Wolf_objective” and give it a “description” key and a value that fits your location like “Allied Spawn”, then it should work.
