few questions about PC brink

first off, i really love the game. asside from the lag, which im confident will be fixed, the game is alot of fun. im playing on pc and im not seeing any options for controllers/gamepads. i normally do keyboard and mouse but i also have a 360 controller i like to play with from time to time. are there options in game im just not seeing?

also, i had a strange thing happen lastnite. i dont really know how to explain it other than my point of view had been pulled back. obviously it was still first person but it was pulled so far back you could see where my guys arms were missing and you can see the entire gun at all times. im pretty sure when i first started playing it wasnt like that. im not seeing any options for it anywhere either, id really like it just back to default.

appreciate the responses. im gonna go play a few more rounds.

Your FOV (field of view) just have gotten changed.
When you load the game Press CTRL + ALT + ` (tilde) to bring the console down and type this command in it:
ui_fov 70

70 was the default value. That’s too claustrophobic for me so I use 100. You might want to try 90.

i appreciate the response. about to load the game and try it out.

one other question i forgot about. the bullet sound volume seems quite a bit higher than the rest of the volume. my main “play time” is at night, after my girlfriend has gone to bed and our son is asleep. im constantly turning my volume up and down depending on how intense the fire fights are. is there volume for individual things? i looked and i didnt see any. if not, this would be a great thing to patch in (after lag fixes) for us pc users
