Few problems when playing Brink

Hi there,

I have a few problems when I try to play Brink.
I’m already pleased that the invisible player and sound bugs are gone, those annoyed the hell out of me.

But I still am unable to enjoy a nice game of Brink (well, only sometimes I’m able).

Most of the times when I connect to a server (even if I try 20 servers or restarting Brink or my PC in between), I keep getting disconnected within a minute of playing, on all servers and even when I keep reconnecting to the same. Sometimes (rare) it happens that after a reconnect I am able to stay in the server untill I decide to leave, and sometimes (also rare) I am able to play without being disconnected at all.

Now this is my main problem, but there are 2 other problems that sometimes do not even allow me to enter a game in the first place.

  1. Often my internet gets disconnected when starting Brink, no clue why, only happens when playing Brink :S (As soon as it’s back up I can start playing though).

and 2. Sometimes (not often!) my server list doesn’t appear, although when going to history there are still some servers there, so I would be able to join 1, if above problems won’t occur.

My system requirements are at a recommended state (all but my graphic card even above). I run Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and have a ATI graphic card (Radeon Sapphire 5850).

I read there were some problems with ATI cards, but the problems I read about had mostly to do with lag and graphics if I’m not mistaken, and I do not experience any lagg, and my graphics are great tbh.

Is there any one that has experienced these problems and/or that can help me?

I’m still having the same problems.

In the last week, I was only able to play a full game of Brink once.
Tried every day, several times… I get in the game, I play for 30 sec or so, and I get disconnected.

Error
The connection to the game session has been lost

The above error is what I’m getting every single time… I really like the game, but I can’t enjoy it like this, and it’s annoying me to death.

Any1 any ideas?

What message do the other players see?

Do you have packet loss in your network?

have you enabled brink in your firewall?

At this stage I would suggest favouriting the servers you are able to play on and see if the issue only occurs for certain servers or if it is as random as it initially seems.
