Few issues after my 2nd beta.

(Looms) #1

Another beta weekend done. A lot of time spent (made it to level 15), a lot of awesome games played (yeah, even those 3/2vs5) and I really like this game more and more. But like with every game in beta state, there are few issues that imho need to be taken care of before release (in random order):

  1. Chat
Can we get an option for an always visible and BIGGER chat ? On 1920x1080 chat window is really small and trying to read a message is annoyig. Also, why can’t i use chat while waiting for rez/redeploy ?

  2. Map design
Quite nice at start but then you quickly realize where are the choke points and the explosives spam beggin. Sadly, you can even blow up people right at their spawn. Can we get some spawn protection or spawn area block to prevent this from happening ?

  3. Weapon statistics
Would love to know the basic weapon statistics (damage, reload speed, rpm etc) without leaving the game (i’m sure that, once the game is released there will be a wiki with all the info).

  4. Mandatory advanced tutorial on release
I know that the keys were given to random people but seriously, a lot of people had no idea what to do other than tryinng to get frags. You have to realise that some really low skilled people will be playing this game (if it will really be f2p) and the more information they get at start the better for their teammates.

  5. Boxes with loadouts
I have no idea how the drop system is working. Last beta boxes refused to drop after reaching level ~7 and in this one after reaching level ~11. Also, please drop this RNG crap when opening the box.

  6. Anticheat
I didnt expect to meet 2 cheaters during a 3 day beta.

  7. Invite a friend
I know you guys are working on it but imo it should be implemented asap. Also, is there a possibility for a feature to add friends to steam from game menu ?

  8. Few modes and a lot of maps
Stopwatch is just a variation of Objective. Add CTF and TDM and it’s fine. What this game really need is a lot of well designed maps to choose from.
