They are fixing the spectator glitch in competitive. I believe this is the only hotfix they are making before the “big” update at the end of the month.

The only confirmed thing to be in the update, as Kaneki correctly said, is the hotfix for the spectator/spawn glitch. It’s unlikely anything else will be in the hotfix update, unless there’s something else they believe they can squeeze in for fixing. It’s mainly so that the DB Nation tournament can go ahead this weekend without any problems from glitches.

I thought it will fix long loading times when joining ongoing matches? I may have misheard on yesterdays stream.

Good, tired of having to K and wait another 25 seconds when I spawn.

Nope, there’s been NO other confirmed fixes in the update, other than the respawn/spectator bug. Like I said, they may throw something else in if the build is tested properly and has something else ready to go, but the last I heard, the hotfix is solely for that glitch, so that the DB Nation tournament can go ahead this weekend without any problems caused by the bug. :slight_smile:

Hey apparently it fixed the revivr not reviving people problem. Also, does anybody know if this tourney is still happening? I don’t want to get up early on sunday for no reason.

It fixed the loading issue so the downtime wasn’t wasted IMO.

So, they rolled out an update with the sole purpose of fixing the spectator glitch (or at least the main purpose…) and fixed most bugs EXCEPT for the spectator glitch?

Probably it’s a more complex issue. I would not blame SD here. Some bugs can be just complex, and might seems as fixed during internal testing and show up again in production. It’s nothing un-common.

Also they are working on this in quite a rush, so of course they probably could not test all possible ways…

And as some people mentioned, few other things got fixed :wink:
