[feature suggestion] filter out "max level 5" servers in the browse

I happen to have level 17. Since there is no possibility of being “degraded” that I know of, I doubt I will ever have a use for “max level 5” servers. Would it be possible then to either automatically filter them out once you reach level 6 or introduce an option to do it manually in the browser? It would make the browser cleaner to read, I’ve tried joining such servers before realizing they had a level cap more times than I would have liked.

-max

Thanks! I didn’t know there was such an option. In that case I’d appreciate it if there was some brief documentation of all the viable options in the filters dialog box

What clown means is that there is already such a feature. Type -MAX (with the minus sign) in the search box to remove those servers.

You can type anything with a minus to exclude from the search and with a + to include. Separate by a space for individual “items”

I understood what clown said. What I meant was: if someone doesn’t explicitly ask on the forum they have no chance of learning about the ability to “-” or “+” something by any other way than trial and error. The information should be in the game, perhaps above / below the dialog box in question.

Agreed, the current system is awesome and allows for a specific search, better than any standard search would, but there is no way for people that weren’t initiated to know how to do it properly.

I still think that a more user friendly filter system wouldn’t hurt…

I still don’t understand why they won’t leave the search filter as is while also providing a few more check mark boxes for basic things. Removing the max level 5 servers and also having boxes should just be a check mark. And a tooltip or short video on how to use the filter properly would also be quite nice.
